Our Solid Rock
Just recently I received such an encouraging word from a leader in another nation who felt directed by the Lord to be in prayer for the United States of America on election day. This leader took a group of prayer warriors and went to their nation’s U.S. Embassy. They stood in front of the Embassy in the rain and interceded for the United States. That so touches my heart! It is so humbling and it is so beautiful. It is so needed.
A Foundation of Prayer
From the beginning, Aglow has built a foundation of prayer around the world. Positioned geographically and spiritually, we are confident that God hears us when we pray, releasing the will of Heaven on earth. What we declare matters. Along with the urgent stirring within my heart to pray, my thoughts went to an old hymn that we are all familiar with. Listen to these words.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ Blood and Righteousness,
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ Name.
On Christ the Solid Rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
And the chorus repeats that line again, ALL other ground is sinking sand.
Christ the Solid Rock
What truth! It is true in every area of life. Not just politically or governmentally, or at times when elections are held. It means that every day of our life we can live in peace. We can lean into the power of Jesus’ Name. He is the Solid Rock. God sent His Son to show us the way.
I smile when I think of Him in the boat, in the midst of a storm on the Sea of Galilee. His disciples were with him and they grew concerned and afraid as water began filling the boat. My thought is that no one could sleep through a storm! Who does that? Jesus did! The words of the disciples clearly indicated that they felt uncared for as the waves continued to batter their boat. “Do You not care that we are perishing?” As He arose and spoke to the wind and the sea, Jesus said. “PEACE BE STILL” and a great calm followed. Then the words that must have rocked their world. “Why are you so fearful? Is it that you have no faith?” (Mark 4:35-41.) Jesus equates fear with no faith.
Aglow Is
Aglow is a body of faith-filled believers….standing in place…all over the world. We have been positioned by God to speak forth faith into the atmosphere.
WE KNOW HE CARES. WE KNOW HE IS AWARE OF THE WAVES THAT THREATEN TO OVERWHELM US. BUT HE SPEAKS THOSE SAME WORDS TO US. “WHY ARE YOU SO FEARFUL?” Nothing can undo or upset His ultimate plan. He looks to us to stand in faith, speaking it forth…bringing Heaven to earth…in every situation.
Keep releasing faith into the atmosphere over America and the nations of the world.

A pedra angular
Recentemente, recebi essa palavra encorajadora de uma líder em outra nação que se sentiu guiada pelo Senhor a orar pelos Estados Unidos da América no dia da eleição. Essa líder pegou um grupo de intercessores e foi para a Embaixada dos EUA em sua nação. Eles ficaram em frente à embaixada na chuva e intercederam pelos Estados Unidos. Isso comoveu meu coração de tal maneira! É tão humilde e tão lindo. É tão necessário.
Um fundamento da oração
Desde o início, a Aglow construiu uma base de oração em todo o mundo. Posicionados geográfica e espiritualmente, estamos confiantes de que Deus nos ouve quando oramos, liberando a vontade do Céu na terra. O que declaramos é importante. Junto com o desejo urgente de orar em meu coração, meus pensamentos se voltaram para um antigo hino (tradução livre). Ouça essas palavras.
Minha esperança firmada está em nada menos
Do que no sangue e na justiça de Jesus,
Não me atrevo a confiar em nada frágil
Mas apenas no Nome de Jesus.

Que verdade! É verdade em todas as áreas da vida. Não apenas no âmbito político ou de governo, ou nos momentos de eleições. Isso significa que todos os dias da nossa vida podemos viver em paz. Podemos confiar no poder do Nome de Jesus. Ele é a pedra angular. Deus enviou Seu Filho para nos mostrar o caminho.
Sorrio ao pensar n’Ele no barco, em meio a uma tempestade no Mar da Galiléia. Seus discípulos estavam com ele e ficaram preocupados e com medo quando a água começou a encher o barco. Eu imagino que ninguém consegue dormir no meio de uma tempestade! Quem faz isso? Jesus fez! As palavras dos discípulos indicaram claramente que eles se sentiam negligenciados enquanto as ondas continuavam a bater em seu barco. “Mestre, não te importas que morramos?” Ao se levantar e falar ao vento e ao mar, Jesus disse. “ACALMA-SE” e fez-se completa bonança. Em seguida, as palavras que
devem ter abalado seu mundo. “Por que vocês estão com tanto medo? É porque vocês não tem fé? ” (Marcos 4: 35-41) Jesus equipara o medo à falta de fé.
A Aglow
Aglow é um corpo de crentes cheios de fé…posicionados… em todo o mundo. Fomos posicionados por Deus para declarar fé ao ambiente.
NÓS SABEMOS QUE ELE SE IMPORTA. NÓS SABEMOS QUE ELE ESTÁ CIENTE DAS ONDAS QUE NOS AMEAÇAM. MAS ELE FALA AS MESMAS PALAVRAS PARA NÓS. “POR QUE VOCÊS ESTÁ TÃO COM MEDO?” Nada pode desfazer ou atrapalhar Seu plano final. Ele espera que permaneçamos com fé, declarando … trazendo o Céu à terra … em todas as situações.
Continue declarando fé sobre a América e as nações do mundo.

La roca de nuestra salvación
Recientemente recibí una palabra de aliento de una líder en otra nación que sintió la guía del Señor para orar por los Estados Unidos de América el día de las elecciones. Esta líder reunió a un grupo de guerreros de oración y acudieron a la embajada estadounidense en su país. Se pararon delante de la embajada, bajo la lluvia, e intercedieron por la nación. ¡Tocó mi corazón! Es algo tan lleno de humildad y belleza. Es tan necesario.
Um fundamento da oração
Desde su inicio, Aglow fue edificado alrededor del mundo sobre un fundamento de oración. Posicionado geográfica y espiritualmente, estamos confiados en que Dios nos escucha cuando oramos desatando la voluntad del Cielo en el mundo. Lo que declaramos importa. Junto a la urgente necesidad en mi propio corazón por la oración, mis pensamientos volaron a un antiguo himno con el que todos estamos familiarizados. Escuche la letra.
Segura mi esperanza está en la justicia de Jesús,
Y mis pecados expiará el sacrificio de Su cruz.
La tempestad jamás podrá Su dulce faz de mi ocultar;
Su luz gloriosa en mi alma está. En Él confío sin cesar.
En Sus promesas confiaré en medio de la tentación;
Ya salvo soy, en Él hallé, la Roca de mi salvación.
Cuando ante Dios y el juicio esté, confiado Cristo me hallará,
Pues, Su justicia dándome, sin mancha me presentará.
Y el coro repite la letra, Jesús será mi protección, la Roca de mi salvación.
Cristo la Roca sólida
¡Qué gran verdad! Es cierto para cada área de la vida. No solo la política o gubernamental, ni en esos momentos en los que se llevan a cabo las elecciones. Significa que cada día de nuestra vida podemos vivirlo en paz. Podemos apoyarnos en el poder del nombre de Jesús. Él es la Roca sólida. Dios envió a Su Hijo para mostrarnos el camino.
Sonrío cuando pienso en Él en el barco, en medio de la tormenta en el Mar de Galilea. Sus discípulos estaban con él y se preocuparon y tuvieron miedo al llenarse de agua el barco. ¡Yo pienso que nadie puede dormirse en medio de una tormenta! ¿Quién hace semejante cosa? ¡Jesús lo hizo! Las palabras de los discípulos claramente indicaban que se sentían desprotegidos porque las olas azotaban el barco. “¡Maestro! ¿Acaso no te importa que estamos por naufragar? Jesús se levantó y reprendió al viento, y dijo a las aguas: «¡Silencio! ¡A callar!» Y el viento se calmó, y todo quedó en completa calma.” Luego, dijo las palabras que deben haber estremecido su mundo, “«¿Por qué tienen tanto miedo? ¿Cómo es que no tienen fe?»” (Marcos 4:35-41) Jesús iguala el temor a no tener fe.
Aglow es
Aglow es un cuerpo de creyentes llenos de fe… firmes en su lugar… en todo el mundo. Hemos sido puestos allí por Dios para hablar en fe a la atmósfera.
SABEMOS QUE A ÉL LE IMPORTA. SABEMOS QUE ÉL ESTÁ ENTERADO DE LAS OLAS QUE AMENAZAN CON SUPERARNOS. PERO ÉL NOS DICE ESAS MISMAS PALABRAS A NOSOTROS. “¿POR QUÉ TIENEN TANTO MIEDO?” Nada puede deshacer ni estorbar Su plan. Él está atento a que nosotros nos paremos en fe, lo hablemos… traigamos el Cielo a al tierra… en toda situación.
Siga desatando la fe a la atmósfera sobre EUA y las naciones del mundo.

Notre Rocher Solide
Christ le Rocher Solide
J’ai reçu récemment une parole encourageante d’une responsable Aglow d’un autre pays à qui le Seigneur avait demandé de prier pour les Etats-Unis le jour des élections. Cette responsable demanda à un groupe de femmes ferventes dans la prière de l’accompagner devant l’ambassade américaine de leur pays, et là, sous la pluie, le groupe s’est tenu devant l’entrée pour prier et intercéder pour les Etats-Unis. Leur geste m’a vraiment touché! Quelle leçon d’humilité et de courage; c’est magnifique et tellement nécessaire.
La Prière Comme Fondement
Dès ses débuts, et partout dans le monde, le ministère d’Aglow s’est bâti sur le fondement de la prière. Par notre positionnement géographique et spirituel, nous croyons que Dieu entend nos prières et libère la volonté du Ciel sur la terre. Ce que nous déclarons de notre bouche est important. J’ai ressenti en moi l’urgence de prier et mes pensées se sont tournées vers ce vieux cantique que nous connaissons bien. Regardez bien ces paroles.
Mon espoir n’est basé sur rien d’autre que
le sang de Jésus et sa Justice,
Je n’ose me confier ailleurs
que dans le seul nom de Jésus.
Je me tiens sur Christ, le solide Rocher
Tout le reste n’est que sable mouvant
Et le refrain reprend cette même phrase: TOUT le reste n’est que sable mouvant.

Quelle vérité! Et c’est vrai dans tous les domaines de nos vies, pas seulement au niveau politique ou lors d’élections présidentielles majeures. Nous pouvons faire l’expérience de cette paix tous les jours de notre vie. Nous pouvons nous appuyer sur la puissance du nom de Jésus, notre rocher solide. Dieu a envoyé Son fils pour nous montrer la voie.
Je souris en pensant au passage de la Bible où Jésus se trouve dans la barque, au beau milieu de la tempête en Mer de Galilée. Ses disciples étaient avec Lui, inquiets de voir l’eau remplir la barque, et je me disais que dans une telle situation, personne ne peut dormir, et pourtant Lui, Il l’a fait; Jésus s’est endormi! La réaction des disciples indique clairement qu’ils ne se sentaient pas considérés alors que les vagues continuaient de les submerger: “Ne t’inquiètes-Tu pas de ce que nous périssons?” S’étant réveillé, Il menaça le vent et dit à la mer: “SILENCE, TAIS-TOI” et il y eut un grand calme. Ce qu’Il leur dit ensuite dut les secouer fortement: “pourquoi avez-vous ainsi peur? Comment n’avez-vous point de foi?” (Marc 4:35-41.) Jésus met au même niveau la peur et le manque de foi.
Aglow Est…
Aglow est un corps de croyants remplis de foi….qui prend sa place…partout dans le monde. Dieu nous a positionnés pour déclarer la foi dans l’atmosphère.
NOUS SAVONS QU’IL PREND SOIN DE NOUS. NOUS SAVONS QU’IL EST PARFAITEMENT AU COURANT DES VAGUES QUI CHERCHENT À NOUS SUBMERGER MAIS IL NOUS ADRESSE AUSSI CES MÊMES PAROLES: “POURQUOI AVEZ-VOUS PEUR?” Rien de peut défaire ou perturber Son plan ultime. Il compte sur nous pour nous tenir dans la foi, pour déclarer Sa volonté…amener le ciel sur la terre…dans chaque situation.
Continuez de libérer la foi dans l’atmosphère, sur les Etats-Unis et sur les nations du monde.
Our pastor spoke on the Rock just a few weeks ago. He said something that was fresh and relevant to me. He said that “opinions of man” is sinking sand. It has been a time when I cannot listen to news and even to friends and sometimes not to relatives that I love so much. But, I must go to the Rock! I must listen only to Him. Thank you for this word of wisdom and truth.
